Student volunteers at 15 colleges throughout state participated in the 2009 Donate Life Illinois Campus Challenge, a six-week campaign to register members of their campus communities as organ/tissue donors. This year’s Challenge took place October 5 - November 13 and thanks to participating students’ effort and hard work, more than 1,100 Illinois residents were registered as lifesaving organ/tissue donors.
With 205 registrations, Eastern Illinois University claimed the winning spot with the most overall registrations. The winner of the largest percentage of the student body registered is Kankakee Community College. Congratulations to both schools on their successful campaigns! Complete results are displayed in the graph below.

Total Registrations: 1,333
